OP Art Prints
Project Description: This project has lots of fun elements to it. This project was to make an Optical Illusion Art which tricks the eye, foreground, and background of the piece. We used many materials. We used print making paint, linoleum, brayer, carving tool, and roller. First we made different sketches, then we choose the one that we liked the best. Second we carved the sketches into the linoleum. Third we made test prints to if the print looks ok. Then we made our final prints.
Project Reflection: I think that project was better then any other projects that I did in this semester. It was easy and not that complicated. The only hard part was when we had to carve the linoleum to make the print. But that part was fun to because it was my first time doing something like that. The easiest was when we had to move the sketch to the linoleum, because we only had to scribble on the other side of the paper that the sketch was on. And the sketch would be on the linoleum.
