Gothic Gargoyle
Project Description: In this project I combined many animal features like a pig, cat, penguin, and a dinosaur. Then we got a ball of clay and started to make a shape with the ball of clay with other pieces of clay too. But for the nose, eyes, or any thing like that I cut it out on the separate piece of clay with lots of tools. Then I added all the features to the ball of clay and shaped out the body. Finally we glazed it, painted it, and then glazed it again.
Project Reflection: I think that this project was hard because I am not that friendly with clay and I am bad at shaping clay, so then I just tried my best to make the surfaces smooth while shaping it. First it came out as a big blob then it turned out the way it did in the picture. What was easier was when we only had to paint the gargoyle. We used special paint that dries really quickly. Then I put matte glaze on it which makes it look really glazed
